Terms of payment

Advance payment is required with respect to the event date by bank transfer to BANCO BPM Spa – Firenze, IBAN IT81P0503402801000000007431, Bic/SWIFT BAPPIT21N25 made payable to Pharma Education Center S.r.l., Via dei Pratoni 16, 50018 Scandicci (FI), VAT number 02173670486, specifying event title along with name and surname of the participant enrolling. Attendance to the event will be allowed upon payment received. Invoice of payment will be issued after the second half of the month after the course. Cancellation terms

In order to cancel enrolment to an event, please email in**@ph*******************.it within 2 weeks before the starting date of the event. Once this term will be expired, the entire fee will be charged.

Participant replacement

It is possible to replace a participant attendance without additional cost, simply by contacting in**@ph*******************.it. It is asked to notify the participant replacement request within 5 days before the starting date of the course/event, specifying the full name and surname of the enrolled participant as well as the full name and surname of the substitute.

Terms of cancellation or rescheduling

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Pharma Education Center reserves the right to cancel or schedule the event for another date. In this case Pharma Education Center will refund the registration fee in full and without additional charges. Alternatively, the participant can request a spendable coupon for participating in another PEC event scheduled in the current year.

Privacy information and release statement for photographs and videos

Information pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679

Dear Participant, the European Regulation EU 2016/679 (hereinafter “Privacy Code”) provides that the processing of personal data shall be carried out fairly, lawfully, transparently, and with protection of the confidentiality and rights of the data subjects. Therefore, pursuant of the new Privacy Code, Pharma Education Center Srl (PEC) provides the following information regarding the processing of collected personal data:

1. Data Categories Processed

For the purpose of course enrollment and subsequent delivery, we process the following personal data:

  • Personal data: first name, last name, date of birth.
  • Contact information: email address, fixed and mobile phone numbers.
  • Organizational data: name of the organization, professional role.
  • Additional data: any data related to specific preferences or needs (e.g., food allergies for in-person events).
2. Purpose and methods of processing

All personal data provided will be processed both electronically and manually, in order to document participation in events organized by PEC and to fulfill legal obligations. The data will be communicated to suppliers and other parties who contribute to or participate in the event, as well as to the competent authorities in accordance with the law.

In particular, personal data will be processed for the following purposes:

  1. Management of enrollment and participation in courses (legal basis: contract performance).
  2. Fulfillment of legal and administrative obligations (legal basis: legal obligation).
  3. Publication of photographs in the congress photo gallery, on the PEC website, on the PEC LinkedIn page, and in informative material and event dissemination (legal basis: legitimate interest).
  4. Sending informative communications about future events or related activities (legal basis: explicit consent).
  5. Communication to sponsors and partners of the course for reporting purposes and for any promotional or informative activities related to the course (legal basis: explicit consent).
3. Data Controller

The Data Controller for personal data processing is Pharma Education Center Srl, with registered office at Via dei Pratoni, 16 – 50018 Scandicci (FI), represented by the Legal Representative pro tempore.

4. Communication and dissemination of data

Personal data may be disclosed to:

  • PEC employees and data processors appointed by PEC.
  • Sponsors and partners of the course, limited to the data necessary for the stated purposes.
  • Technical and organizational service providers for event management (e.g., e-learning platforms, communication services).
  • Public authorities or authorities, where required by law.
5. Transfer of data abroad

Personal Data may be transferred to countries within the European Union and to third countries in accordance with the provisions of the new Privacy Code or, in any case, with the prior consent of the data subject.

6. Nature of data provision
  • With regard to the processing referred to in point 2, letters a) and b) above, the provision of Personal Data is mandatory for these purposes; therefore, any refusal will result in the impossibility of participating in the initiative.
  • With regard to the processing referred to in point 2, letters d) and e) above, the provision of Personal Data is optional for these purposes; therefore, any refusal will not result in the impossibility of participating in the initiative.
7. Data subject's rights

At any time, you may exercise your rights under the current legislation, in particular the right to access your Personal Data, request rectification, updating, and deletion if incomplete, incorrect, or collected in violation of the law, as well as object to their processing for legitimate reasons, by writing directly to PEC at the address indicated in the “Data Controller” section or via email at in**@ph*******************.it.

Authorization of personal data treatment

By completing this registration form, I declare that I have read and understood the privacy policy and consent to the processing of my personal data for the purposes outlined in point 2 of the privacy policy.

Declaration of release

By completing this registration form, I, the undersigned, hereby consent to the processing of my personal data for the purposes outlined in points 2(d) and 2(e) of the preceding privacy notice,

I declare

to grant, free of charge, to PEC all rights related to my photographic and/or audiovisual images that PEC and/or its collaborators may capture and/or record at the aforementioned EVENTS organized by PEC.

I further authorize

PEC to use them freely, without any compensation due to me, exclusively for non-profit purposes, in accordance with the methods and limits outlined in the aforementioned received information.
This release does not authorize the use of my photographic and/or audiovisual image in contexts that may prejudice personal dignity and decorum, and in any case for uses and/or purposes other than those indicated above. This release may be revoked at any time by written communication to the address indicated in the “Data Controller” section or via email to in**@ph*******************.it
